This artery was designed to alleviate backups on surrounding highways connecting St. Charles to St. Louis County. I-364 is now one of the heaviest traveled arteries for the very rapidly growing area of St. Charles County: St. Peters, O’Fallon, Cottleville, Weldon Spring and Dardenne Prairie. Motorists are also able to easily travel to the large entertainment area of Westport Plaza, where World Wide Technology, Schnucks Markets and Edwards Jones company headquarters are located.
